Going to the Registry of Marriage!

It's my uncle's big day! After today, he will be having a great responsibility; being a husband and having a wife.


We went to the Registry Of Marriage early. He had booked a private suite for the solemnization.

After the solemnization had finished, we went to his house at Ang Mo Kio.

Speaking of Uncle Ken, I can tell you that he is a successful guy. He finished education only up till Secondary 4. And now he's a manager earning more than $3000 and having his own house at the age of 27.. And, he had the title of being the youngest manager in Lee Hwa Jewellery. And he doesn't stop there. He's even soaring to great heights and his seniors are going to promote him soon.




Anyway, after visiting his house, we went to a Pearl River Palace Restaurant to had dinner.
(He treats of course!)

The educational trip to Labrador Park.

Miss Audrey Tan organised a trip to Labrador Park to teach us a Geography chapter, Marine Processes. We met at around 4.30pm outside the General Office. There only around 18 people who went for the trip for both classes 4N1 and 4N2.

While teaching, we were trying to catch marine creatures because it was in low tide.. We found some mudskippers, hermit crabs and other small fishes..


It has been a long time since I went to the beach in low tide.. And catch some marine sea creatures..

And and.. something amazing happened! We chanced upon a wedding couple who were taking pictures there for photo shoot! COOL!

After that, we decided to go to the jetty nearby to fish. Yes, fishing.


And guess what did we caught?
















NOTHING!



Haha, lame. Anyway, something shocking happened at the jetty. There was this middle-age man, who carried his dog at the jetty, and THREW IT OFF the jetty right in front of everyone's eyes! The poor dog had to swam back to the shore on its own, all because the son of a bitch. It was pretty obvious he was trying to seek attention. After he threw the dog down, he smirked and ride his bicycle away.


Yingying, being a dog lover, was so distraught that she cried. She was traumatized and pitied the dog. And she was listless on the bus way back home. Poor girl.



Anyway, all of us were all tired after the trip. It was certainly rewarding and fulfilling one.

Eddie's actual cause of death revealed.

People say you can't cheat death twice. After Eddie cheated death from a car accident in the past, he couldn't cheated on Sunday.


An autopsy had revealed that Eddie Guerrero died from heart failure, thanks to his busy schedule and his alcoholic and pain-killers drug addiction. The autopsy found that his blood vessels were very worn and narrow which caused the abuse and he fell into a deep sleep...



His autobiography, ironically, names it as "Cheating Death, Stealing Life." is expected to be release in early December. For his fans and wrestling fans, this book is a must-have. This book of his will be the last and only memories after he leaves the mortal world.


I will probably save enough money to buy his book, which may cost S$20-S$30.

Eduardo Gory Guerrero (Eddie Guerrero) dies.

I shall dedicate this post to my favourite wrestler, Eddie Guerrero. I heard the tragic news about him today, from Shafeeq that he had bitten the dust. I was naturally shocked, but later thought that he must have played a trick or it's just one of the WWE's scripwriters' plot. But no, it is real. He is dead. News spread like wildfire about his untimely departure, sending rude shocks to his fans all over the world.


The former WWE Champion had bitten the dust at 38 years old.



According to several reports, he was found dead at his hotel room on 13 November (Sunday) after failing to respond to door knocks and phone calls. An autopsy is being carried out and the results are expected to release in a couple of weeks time.




As I'm writing this, my heart is filled with utmost sadness. I could still remembered when he did the unthinkable. He defeated Brock Lesnar and became the WWE Champion. When I watched the recaps, I was always touched because of his never-say-die attitude, and that nothing is impossible. He won lots of titles during his reign.


He battled alcholism and was once a drug addict before. However, he battled the depths of them. This, I salute him.


I was watching those videos at WWE.com, and WWE wrestlers were giving their speech. I paid extra attention to Chris Benoit and Rey Mysterio because they were Eddie's closest friends. I listened to their speech, and I cried with them. I could totally understand their feelings, their anguish.


I express my sympathy and condolences to the Guerreros' family and friends.


Eddie, I knew you will be in a better place. You will be remembered in our hearts forever. You will be a champion forever.


We will never forget the legacy you leave behind.

New song added.

By the time you read this post, you could have notice music coming out from your speakers. Yeah, I have added a song in my blog. It's from O-Zone and called Dragostea Din Tei. I was crazy about this song because for the past movies I've watched, an advertisement featuring an animated character called Chicken Little was dancing along with this song. It's a very nice song.



Also, I'm looking forward to 18th and 23rd of November.

I'm going to go to the Registry of Marriage (ROM) to witness the process of the registry between my uncle (he's 26.) and his girlfriend at 18th November.


For 23rd November, it's the much-awaited Graduation High Tea and the Choir concert!


Graduation High Tea is the only day where we could meet Normal Academic, Normal Technical and Express students for the one last time before most of them graduate. I will take lots of pictures with the ones I know, be it friends or acquaintances. It will be a very memorable day in my life.


Choir concert! Ah no, it's called the Dawn of Voices. Nice name isn't it? Dawn of Voices is a collaboration of the Singapore Polytechnic Choir and North Vista Secondary School Choir. The concert also happens coincidentally at 23rd November. My peers and I will proceed to Singapore Polytechnic Auditorium once the Graduation High Tea is over. My peers and I, being involved in the performing arts, have been performing for the audience for the past 3 years. Now it's time for us to be the audience for our fellow juniors. North Vista Secondary School Choir's first concert will be a success, and I will remember it for life. North Vista Chorale will strive to be the very best!


I can't wait for these 2 days to happen!

It's MY birthday!

18 years ago, a couple tried making a baby. They finally did it during their honeymoon at USA. 2 years later, on this very day, a baby boy was borned. This boy was named Ho Zhao Lun. When he grew older, his parents enrolled him in baby shows and he won prizes. *ahem*

LAME. Anyway, it's my birthday today and I celebrated with some of my friends. Unfortunately, many couldn't make it due to some factors; 'O' level Maths, Bridging course, etc. Still, I enjoyed lots today.


I went out with Bao Hui, Low Ris, Han Wen, Sin Wee and Wei Chong in the afternoon. We met at 2pm and went to catch a movie called Doom at Cineleisure. However, due to time constraint thanks to the Bridging Course, plus Low Ris wasn't 16 years old yet, we went to Plaza Singapura instead, to check out other movies. We ended watching a movie called All about love.


I give the movie a rating of 3 out of 5, although it's my first time watching a love show. And I tell you, Charlene Choi was SO CUTE! OH MY GOD! She smiled radiantly, and her voice was so pleasant. The story plot was lame; no spoilers here. The moral of the story: Andy Lau LOVES eating oranges.



After watching the movie, we went to play some arcade and later proceeded on to Marina South. (Yes I know, again!)

Finally, they reached the place and we started placing our orders. There were live crabs and prawns. And we had to chop the crabs. I felt disgusted because when Han Wen was chopping the crabs, the crabs still moved their body parts although they were chopped into half.


It was considered quite dirty but a unique experience.

Honestly, we took some pictures and some of the people thought we were crazy. But never mind, it's for blog's sake.

Anyway, I have to note that Daniel kept insulting me innocuously because he said it was my birthday. He injects alot of fun and humour that kept all of us laughing.



After eating, Wei Chong, Han Wen, Sin Wee and me decided to go back home as it was getting late. And we ended up reaching home at around midnight or so. Jeremy, Chong Boon, Jason and Daniel continued playing their games etc.

Celebrating Yingying and my birthday!

It was a nice Saturday. It was a group consisting of Yingying, Jia Yi, Yan Tong, Justin, Jerry, Clarence, Liang Zhi, Samantha, Xi Boon, Vincent, Jun Ping and me, celebrating for Yingying and my birthday!

We went took a MRT train to Marina Bay.



And we finally reached Marina Bay.




And we took a bus to Marina South.




Some of us played arcade while some played bowling and pool.

Oh, you may have seen that both of us wore the same T-Shirt. It was just a COINCIDENCE, yet some of them poked fun and said we were a couple! How infuriating!



Anyway, after playing we went to Chin Huat Live Seafood Steamboat or something at Marina South.

After that, we went to collect some raw food and live sea creatures; prawns and crabs. We didn't want the crab because you have to chop it by yourself and none of us knows how to do it. And so we took the prawns instead. The uncle uses a fish net and scooped live prawns for us, stored in a plastic container.





I manage to get a picture of them with the plastic cover out as they could jump out anytime. They were quite pity though, as when we put them into the hot plate, a few jumped and landed on the floor, while half-cooked. Oh my, how scary! While some just landed on the plate with their 'legs' moving very fast, and slowly die and being cooked.


But still, their meat went into our stomachs and it was very fresh too!

The photo above reminds me of the last-minute present that a few of my friends bought for me. There was this mute lady who went around using hand gestures to ask people to buy plushies from her. When this mute lady approached us, Justin and Jerry gave the idea of buying it for me. The ridiculously priced $15 was haggled till $10. It was a Nemo. Never mind that it was last-minute present. It's the thought that counts.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow and next Monday. Tomorrow's a birthday celebration for Yingying and me by good friends. I'm pretty sure it's going to be an exciting one. We chose the date 5 November because it was the middle between our birthdays. And next Monday, it's my birthday and I'm celebrating it with my good buddies at 4N1. Finally, I could watch NC-16 movies, and doesn't need my friends to help me 'smuggle' me in into the cinema with so much hassle.


Also, thanks for my splendid results, I was nominated or may have won Edusave or other awards. Felt so happy!


Anyway, I hope that these 2 days will be fun-filled and exciting. I will blog about it, stay tuned readers!

Celebrating Jason's birthday!

It's Jason's birthday! Yeah, we were intending to give him a surprise. And we succeeded!





He was shocked that we were celebrating his birthday for him.

Anyway, I have to mention that his kind uncle bought satay for us. Very nice people.


After celebrating for him, we went to the basketball court nearby. There, I saw the cockiest person I've ever met in my entire life. He was just a kid, and the words to describe him are: Arrogant, Smart-Aleck, Stubborn and Rude. The ill-bred called Yingying big size when she was trying to defend against him. We had no problem playing the match except the kid. The guy was a soloist. Once he get the ball, he aims to shoot and doesn't shows any teamwork. The dumbest thing about him was that he tried using AND1 skills, and failed miserably, and goes on saying about stupid terms like Superdunk and other stuff. On that point, I felt like giving him one tight slap. This kid is going to get into trouble when he grows up with this disgusting attitude. Ah, but never mind. We won the match anyway.

I would like to note that the pictures that are put in my blog, no matter if I poke fun of them, I assure that it will not be done maliciously. Why did I say that? Because Justin and Liang Zhi had a tiff of the pictures that I put up in my blog because of the previous post and I felt abit guilty. Whilst I decided to delete the picture, I must say that from today onwards, I will not delete the pictures as if I am obliged to do so.

Firstly, it's my blog.
Secondly, whatever I do to the pictures, either it is in the storyline, or that it happened, and I type it and makes sure that I do not go overboard. It's all innocuous.

So please be understanding enough to take this as a harmless joke. I respect everyone, but sometimes I do try to make my blog interesting because I felt my writing were, sometimes, serious.




Anyway, besides the serious note, you guys must have noticed the banner which had my birth date and wishes for me. Unlike sadistic Joel, who put curses on people if they doesn't wish him a birthday greeting, I'm different. All I wanted was to show the world my birth date, and if you're a nice person, all I want is a birthday greeting typed at my Chatterbox, or give me a Friendster testimonial.
