Last day of school before Chinese New Year.

It was the last day of school before Chinese New Year. And being a chorister, I had to perform for the school audience. We sang He Xing Nian and Kuo Le Yi Ge Da Fei Nian. I must say it wasn't a very nice performance, and tried to project our voices but couldn't. And the audience were dead, with little or no expressions at all.

Anyway after that, I went to KBox with Jia Yi, Xi Boon and Jerry. And I must say that I have the worst experience ever. I was so pissed off. I paid $11 for 3 hours in KBox, and I sang a ridiculous amount of 2 songs!!! The girls kept on singing and singing, and they didn't spare a thought for me. And Jia Yi kept ordering me to tune in the microphone volume and other stuff. After they sang so many songs, I can FINALLY sing one song. While I was singing halfway, GOH JIA YI rudely CANCELLED IT and said "The time is going to be over soon."

Do you know how pissed off I was? They could sing full songs and yet I couldn't.

I will not go to KBox with them ever again.

Will be busy.

I've been busy for this week as there are tests and remedials. I'm also involved in the Chinese New Year Concert. So I wouldn't be blogging often.

Anyway, I've notice something about teachers. In order to make you study hard and be very afraid, they tell about how scary exams is. Last year, when I was taking my 'N' levels, teachers kept emphasising on the importance of 'N' levels saying we cannot slack or we will fail it. And now I've passed, teachers again, tell us the importance of 'O' levels. A friend of mine, Kelvin Yap, went to Innova Junior College for the first 3 months. His teacher told him "You can slack and do last minute work at 'O' levels, but you cannot do the same for 'A' levels or you will fail." Every graduating class, teachers kept saying the same old thing, hoping that we can study harder etc. So now you know.

The other thing I would like to mention is about discriminating of obese people. I myself is overweight, and people discriminate us. Just like you condemn racism and sexism, you should condemn discrimination of overweight people. I was very unhappy during today's P.E lesson. Girls were choosing the guys to partner them, and I realise that in the end, 5 boys weren't chosen (including me). 3 of them were overweight, while the other 2 were skinny. I was extremely pissed off. And to make matters worse, when we were playing a modified ball game of Softball, I was standing at the field with a friend of mine like a motionless scarecrow, while others got a chance to throw or hit the ball.

By leaving obese people out until there weren't enough people to play, you are saying that obese people are unimportant, useless, and a liability to sports. By doing that, you're destroying the confidence of these people and made their self-esteem feel low.

I've been tolerating people for a long time, not just this incident. When we play a match of basketball, I was usually among the last to be chosen. If I were to be chosen, fit people will not pass the ball to me anyway.

If you are one of those kind who I mentioned, you better start thinking about your actions, or you're just an insensitive idiot.

I'm back!

It's been weeks since I've blogged. Apparently, due to my family problems, I was unable to use the computer. I express my sincere apologies for not giving a notice, and those who kept visiting daily hoping that I would blog.

Now that my family problems had settled down, I can blog once again!

I know that my previous posts had sparked comments, and I must say that I would like to thank those who supported me all these while, especially Angie. Jenna said I shouldn't questioned God like that, but sometimes, in desperate times to be exact, you can't help but think of such a question when you knew that God is the ultimate ruler of the Universe; a saviour.

I've just visited the statistics of my blog, and realised that people still visit daily. I would like to thank those who visited, and I won't name names just in case they want to remain anonymous.

What was I doing for the past few weeks? Well, I attended S.H.E's signing cum singing session, and I was obsessed with the trio, especially Selina, when she looked at me with her brown hazel eyes and smiled at me. My heart melted like an ice-cream being put in an oven. I'm also adjusting to the new syllabus of my subjects as well.

I will blog again soon, and meanwhile, rock on!

Family problems.

I've encountered family problems, mainly financial. Those who think that I'm rich, I'm not, and I can say that it isn't always what it seems when you're with me.

Just now, my mom cried while talking to my father. She had already bottled up her feelings and could take it no more. All I can do was to ask her to stop crying. But it didn't work. While she was crying, my grandmother called, and she could sense her daughter was crying and told my uncles and my grandfather. my mom was so distraught that she put down the phone, and suddenly, my grandfather, my eldest uncle, my 2nd uncle called and asked what happened. My mom told them what happened, and my grandmother was crying.

I'm extremely saddened, and I can't help but think: "What was God doing?" It may be selfish and unreasonable but I just couldn't help it. I'm not an atheist, but I sometimes wonder why wasn't God help us when we needs him? Sigh...

New Year, new resolutions.

It's New Year, with lots of challenges and uncertainty that faces us.

Welcome to the Year 2006, 6 years after the millenium. But before 2006, let us recap about some events that happened during 2005.

Infamous National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Saga

The NKF Saga all started because of a golden tap. And it leaded to suing between T.T Durai and Singapore Press Holdings. After that, Durai dropped the case, and later quit as CEO of NKF. At late months of 2005, there were startling facts about the old management of NKF. If my mind serves me right, only 10% of the funds went to the patients. NKF exaggerated its patients under its care. There were alot of truth being said, and I won't say it here as I guess Singaporeans should know, except foreigners who read my blog.

Eddie Guerrero and George Bests' deaths

I won't say much here, but for those who doesn't know them:

Eddie Guerrero is a professional wrestler, and once won the prestigious WWE Champion.

George Best is a famous football Manchester United Legend, who's known for womanising.

'N' Level Results

Based on my school's information, 17 people failed among the 75 Normal Academic (NA) students who took the national exam. The atmosphere was sad, and crying could be heard during the hall when we took our results slip.

My message...

Based on the fact that almost 2 billion people (That's half the human population) lives off less than $2 everyday, I hope everyone will know how to treasure their possessions and family. No matter what, there will always be people who will be poorer than us. We must understand this. In Singapore, we are lucky to have a good geographical location, which fends off earthquakes and other natural disasters. Other foreigners who read my blogs, you guys are also lucky too.

This paragraph is dedicated to my friends. To those who failed 'N' levels, I know that we are going by different paths. I once watched a movie which says that friends come and go. However, you will remember the friend forever and he/she will always have a place in your heart. I know that we will meet sooner or later when we graduate or during adulthood. And to those who passed 'N' levels, my congratulations to you, and I'm glad to say that we will have to prepare for the biggest battle of our teenage life. We need to be armoured with knowledge, attitude, and mentality to do well in the 'O' levels. Let us strive and do our best, without any regrets.

Last but not least, I wish everyone bountiful happiness everyday and hope for world peace.

Goodbye 2005, hello 2006!
