Campus Superstar!

I was invited by Jia Yi to join her for today's Campus Superstar survival round. How nice of her, but I had to accompany her to Shenton Way to get the tickets because she received a SMS that she won 2 tickets.


So today, we took Bus 165 from Hougang Bus Interchange to Mediacorp which took around 4o-50 minutes.

When we reached there in late evening, we went to the building, where we saw lots of hired cabs coming to Cadlecott to watch Campus Superstar, mostly students.







Wow so many people!


There so many students crowding the area, but we spotted somebody.


Guess who?




FELICIA!!!


Not only her, but we saw Heng Wai, Yu Wei and the others, and were even surprised to see Pei Ting!!!


Jia Yi and me went into the waiting room first because they have not received their tickets from their friend and were waiting for that guy.



We went to the waiting room, and were greeted with this sight.








It was so crowded and so stuffy and people were crammed and we tried to squeeze ourselves in.



After they opened the gates, people cut queues and join their fellow schoolmates. Luckily, we were among the first to get in and we managed to find a seat.

And this is the stage which is surprisingly small!


Also, the front seats of the studios had to be occupied by the fans of the 12 Campus Superstar contestants; only fans who wore school uniform only. And I tell you, the arrangement for them was simply pathetic. There were lots of mixed-up of where to seat etc. Jia Yi and me secured 2 seats but later on, we suddenly found ourselves as Geraldine's fans, though I supported Sheena only.

I chat up with a female fan of Geraldine, and she was so excited about Geraldine.



Finally, when 8pm strikes, the live show begins, and ALL OF US BEGAN SCREAMING AND SHOUTING, with our eardrums blasted with full volume of high and piercing soprano voices. But it's for the show right?

And it was time for the contestants to come up!

And they sang and sang as one man show, and I was extremely excited about Sheena. Most of them sang very well, and throughout the whole show, including breaks, my ears were not spared from the screaming of the fans. And I tell you, Adriano had a very huge fan base. When he sang 'Will you marry me?' many of the fans replied 'I do.' Samuel sang Lian Ai ING and brought the whole stuido into the mood, and most of us sang along with him. The others did reasonably well too.

I'm watching the results from TV now and Sheena is eliminated. So sad, but I'm also happy for Geraldine.
